| Be on the look-out for drastic changes in in-flight amenities! In an effort to increase profitability, US Airways has stopped serving complementary meals on domestic flights. For domestic flights 700 miles or longer, the airline has begun selling restaurant meals. The meals cost between $7-$10 and are only available for purchase with cash. Other airlines are expected to follow suit by decreasing in-flight amenities such as meal service and leg room in order to return a profit.
